Senior remote Medical Practitioner- working in remote Aboriginal communities in the Top End
LOCAL BREAKS:
Nightcliff beach- works a couple of times a year when there’s a monsoon or cyclone about, otherwise it’s get on a plane in order to surf
FAVOURITE SURF DESTINATION:
Maldives, Bali, West coast of Vic- Bells/Winki where I grew up surfing.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Studied medicine at Monash Univ and moved to the NT in 1992 and have been here since. I have worked in Aboriginal primary health care for the past 20 years- urban and remote, the Centre and Top End, govt and NGO. I have recently stopped working at Maningrida in Arnhemland after 9 years.

Obviously I don’t get to surf day to day living in the NT. I love getting away for a couple of surfs a year. I keep busy living on a 20 acre block out of Darwin with my partner, 2 boys and a menagerie of animals.
