ANECDOTAL STORIES:
My brother and I spent the summer camping on the beach in Robertsport, Liberia a few years ago. We had the most perfect set up to ourselves, four long left hand point breaks right in front of us that worked pretty much every day. We had no phone, no electricity, drank water from a well and had to make a fire every time we wanted to eat, surviving on fish and rice. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life and had a huge impact on my values and aspirations for my career and life. We are busy planning for the next adventure in a few years time, an epic road trip from London to Cape Town down the whole west coast of Africa!

ANY OTHER INFORMATION THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD ABOUT YOURSELF:
I have only just started my medical career but am already delighted with my choice to be a doctor. It is an incredibly rewarding job, and is almost unique in allowing us to be welcomed virtually anywhere in the world. I sometimes get disillusioned by the constant pressure from colleagues to conform to the normal structure of medical training, staying in the same place with minimal breaks until you are a consultant, but I am convinced that with a bit of imagination and drive you can have a varied and exiting life as a doctor, and by the looks of the other bios on here that seems to be the case!!
