Another G-land update

So since I last wrote….

Waves: yesterday turned from quite wee to nicely 5 ft and perfect, the swell’s hit WA already, and yesterday late arvo/ early evening we were starting to see pulses…

Camp: 13 people out, 7 people in, numbers are low, crowds minimal, and the swell is coming… we should have some pretty happy campers today…

Food: I have taken matters into my own hands and am making lunch for everyone… we’re having chicken curry (indian style), green beans sabji, and rice… if it goes down well, I’ll make cooking a regular feature…

Injuries: nothing major in the last 24 hours- except for some infected reef cuts, not a good look. Chicks dig scars, not festering extremities.. … So… if you get cut by the reef, scrub it out well, get some betadine/ hydrogen peroxide on it, keep it clean and as dry as possible when you’re out of the water… in an ideal world you’d stay out of the water until it was healed up, but hey, you didn’t come to the jungle not to surf, so be as sensible as you can…

Requests: again, if anyone has any spare first aid supplies, please drop them off at the office in Kuta, or leave them in the Jungle when you leave, we’d really appreciate it… (also if anyone wants to send me some tequila +/- bourbon +/- rum that would go down amazingly well, and I’d be your friend for life)…

More soon,

Preets
