First Aid and Life Support At the Beach, Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, 19th November 2009

Surfing Doctors in conjunction with Jeffreys Bay Boardriders Club
bring you and educational evening of ‘First Aid and Life Support at
the Beach’

One of our main focuses is on educating surfers and other beach users
in the areas of basic first aid and life support- answering those
questions about what to do if someone injures themselves or collapses
in the water or on the beach.

Dr. Preeti will be doing a talk for the local surfers and beach users
on these topics, with time for questions and answers.

The date has been set for Thursday November 19th, 7p.m. at Potter’s
Place, Jeffreys Bay. So please spread the word and keep that date
available. It is bound to be of great value to us as a community. We
will be sending out another notice closer to the time.

Dr Preeti is also going to help us organise a proper first aid box and
injury plan which we will keep at Supertubes and perhaps a second one
somewhere at Point.

There will be no cover charge for the evening, but any donations will
be gratefully receieved and will be used to put together the kit for
the first aid box.

Please let me know if you are planning to attend, or contact Jbay
Boardriders directly

See you all then.
