Straddie
Surf travel:
Australia, New Zealand, Indo (Bali, G-land, Sumbawa), Hawaii, California, Costa Rica, Brazil

Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere on a broken-down bus en route to Bolivia, in the heat of summer, with no money for food or water, for three days, on my birthday.
Home break:
Coolum, QLD
Favourite board:
5’4″ stub-nosed quad I shaped a couple of years ago. I basically copied it from photos of a Neal Purchase Jnr Quartet. Super fast, goes unreal in the Sunny Coast slop!
Education and work experience:
Undergrad degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy. MBBS at the University of Queensland. I completed my clinical training, intern and JHO years on the Sunshine Coast, then spent time locuming in EDs and ICUs throughout regional NSW and Victoria before moving back to Brisbane. I’m interested in anaesthetics and critical care.
Previous benevolent work:
Surf lifesaving
What is the best thing about the life you have chosen:
It’s all good!
Tell us a medical joke:
A patient came to hospital after a truck ran over his left arm and leg. Long story short, he turned out all right.
