It’s a big and warm welcome to Dr. Michele Maremmani, our latest recruit, and totally stoked Italian surfer.
Age: 29
Current position:
specializing in Cardiology at Ospedale Molinette in Turin.
My Portfolio:
I am Michele Maremmani, aka Mitch. I was born in Forte dei Marmi, a small village on the seaside of Tuscany on the Mediterranean Sea. I started surfing at the age of eight at our local beach breaks. I was already sailing with my father as a baby.
I can confirm in Italy we do have waves, but of course one needs extreme passion to find the right moment and spot. I but in the end I am grateful I have always had to chase waves because I am now able to fully enjoy any conditions.
After High School, I enrolled in the University of Pisa where I completed with full distinctions (grade A) the Bachelor and Master Degree (a comprehensive six years program with both theory and clinics all the medical disciplines) in 2016.
I am actually working as specializing doctor in Cardiology at Ospedale Molinette in Turin, one of the best Cardiologist centers in Italy and Europe. I have recently achieved the ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
I am really enthusiast to have the opportunity to become member of this association and to have the opportunity to invest my time to give my support to the cause.
