Our latest member is Irish-born surfer and Doctor Davin Clarke. Welcome to The Surfing Doctors.
Davin:
I’m a 28-year-old UK trained Doctor with an interest in Emergency Medicine.
I started surfing in Ireland where I grew up when I was 17/18 and didn’t really appreciate how good the waves were at the time.
I was able to take some time off before and during medical school which allowed me to surf and travel, mainly getting by working as a surf instructor.
I also crossed the Atlantic From South Africa to Brazil with 2 friends on a 27ft yacht (read: tiny boat). I’ve been working full time in Cornwall for 2 years now and am looking forward to a little surf break before entering specialty training.
