General practitioner at SCS (Servicio Canario de Salud) in Tenerife-Canary Islands, currently studying to start my residency there.
Education and work experience?
Medical degree at Università di Catania in 2021, my first work experience was during the COVID-19 pandemic during a year in Italy, then I moved to the Canary Islands in 2022 and worked as a General Practitioner in Tenerife in 2023.

As a medical student in Sri Lanka’s Panadura base hospital and Horana base hospital with Projects Abroad organization in 2017.

Emergency medicine, GP,  research in any medical field.

What is your favourite surf destination?
Indo.
Travel experience?
Portugal, France, Spain, Morocco, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
 
Best surf trip ever?
Indo in 2015 was my first time there, and I fell in love with the waves and the place during that trip.
 
Worst surf trip ever?
Most of the time, I went looking for waves in the Mediterranean Sea, but my friends’ company was great though.
The best thing about surfing?
Pumping down the line, spending time with my friends, eating a lot of food after a good session, traveling the world.
Best advice you were ever given with regards to surfing?
Paddle hard.
 
Who is your favourite surfer in the world, and why?
If I have to choose one, I would say, Dane Reynolds. I’ve grown up watching his videos, and the way he surfs has always amazed me.
