What is your favourite surf destination?

I am definitely not a “good” surfer but an enthusiastic one.  I’m happy to try anywhere and anything, as long as they’re small slider size. I had a super fun time surfing breaks near Tavarua Island in Fiji, as well as some good times on Nusa Lembongan in Indonesia.  We have many destinations yet to visit!

Travel experience?

I’m a holiday and travel addict.  My husband can attest to this.  I love exploring new places and also enjoy skiing, hiking, and snorkelling/scuba diving, so any kind of active holiday is a winner.

Best surf trip ever?

I haven’t taken a dedicated surf trip, as I started surfing later in life.  High on my list is Kandui in Indonesia for an all-round family surf trip… fingers crossed this will be on the horizon.

Worst surf trip ever? Is there such a thing?

Best thing about surfing? Best form of mindfulness, time out, feeling salty and the absolute addiction after a good wave.

Best advice you were ever given with regards to surfing? Just go for it.

Mick Fanning – such a lovely guy and a local gem.
