Hi all

We’re getting ready for the 15th Annual SURFING DOCTORS CONFERENCE at G-Land. 

Conference Dates: 19-26th July 2024.

Please aim to arrive in Bali on or before 17 July 24 and in G-land on or before 18 July. 

 

Conference Location: 

JAWA JIWA CAMP, Alas Purwo National Park, Java, Indonesia.

 

CPD:

The conference has been approved for 20 hours of CPD (continuing professional development) from ACEM (the Australian College of Emergency Medicine.)

 

Conference Fees:

The cost of the conference is $200 for members, and if you’re not yet a member, you will first need to join Surfing Doctors for $100 – payment link HERE

 

Some Conference Topics:

• “Bru, I’m hot!”–burn management from simple burns to critical care.
• The milkshake you don’t want -mushroom poisoning toxidrome recognition and treatment.
• Brown eye, pink eye, stink eye -ophthalmologic emergencies – the basics.

 

Sydney Wavepool Conference:

We will hold a conference at the Urbnsurf Sydney wavepool from 22 to 24 November. Our previous wavepool conferences have been great successes, and wave counts have been high. So mark off the date, and stand by for more updates on this gathering.
