G-Land, also known as Plengkung Beach, is an internationally renowned surf break on Grajagan Bay, Banyuwangi, Alas Purwo National Park, East Java, Indonesia. For 15 years, the Surfing Doctors have held their Annual Conference there, combining work, planning and surfing over a busy week-long schedule.

Often the conference is met with some decent surf, and sometimes it is met with firing conditions, and there are some accidents, fin cuts, reef slices, urchin hacks and other lacerations and such. This year looks like a good one for surf. The Surfline forecast for G-land is way understated, and this forecast is very promising. The crew are going to get barreled, and there will be a few kisses with the reef.
