Surfing Doctors Conference At Urbnsurf Sydney
The Surfing Doctors Conference at the Urbnsurf Wavepool in Sydney will take place from March 14 to 16. Only one or two slots are left for anyone interested in attending, so please contact Surfing Doctors HERE to secure a slot.
The Surfing Doctors Urbnsurf Conference costs $1000 for non-speakers and $700 for speakers. Surfing Doctors has the whole wave pool booked exclusively for conference members, so there will be loads of waves as the machine pumps out about 1,000 waves an hour or something crazy like that. Full details of this conference – including accommodation options and parking – can be found on the Surfing Doctors website HERE.
Sponsors:
We are proud to collaborate with generous sponsors who are helping make this event even more special:
• 1Medical: A representative will be on-site to discuss locum opportunities and how
they can fit your career goals.
• Gray Finance: Ryan Gray will discuss financial planning and services tailored for
medical professionals.
• HaydenShapes Surfboards: Providing a selection of trial boards for use in the wave
pool.
A big thank you to our sponsors for their support!
Surfing Doctors At G-Land 2025

Dr Chapman, Speed Reef
There are plenty of open slots on the Surfing Doctors roster for G-Land stints in 2025. These will start filling up soon, and by the time the wind swings, there will only be a few slots left. The ‘jungle roster’ can be viewed HERE.
The waves at G-land are generally considered to be for skilled or highly competent surfers only. The waves are not suited for beginners or for those learning to surf.
If you are keen on a stint in the jungle, then check the dates on the above roster, join up, and contact David Hateley at davehateley@hotmail.com
Friends Of Nias 2025

Lagundri Bay, Nias © WSL
Surfing Doctors work hand-in-hand with Friends Of Nias, operating out of Sorake Beach in Lagundri Bay. Friends Of Nias also operates a roster of volunteers who wish to work at the clinic at Nias and grab a few runners on the reef after hours.
The Friends Of Nias website is comprehensive and answers most questions should you want to get involved and head out to Nias. It’s an awesome place, the waves are excellent, and the clinic does great work. Otherwise, you can message via the Friends Of Nias contact page.
